Immobilization

For the utmost security, The Witness’s Immobilization feature disables the vehicle’s starter until you decide to re-enable it. During this time, the ignition cannot be started, even with the proper key. Turn off the immobilization and re-enable the starter with a phone call or click of your mouse.

Unauthorized Movement Alert

While the vehicle’s ignition is off, when it is immobilized, or when your alarm system* is armed, The Witness is automatically watching the vehicle to detect any unauthorized movement. While the vehicle is in this mode, any movement beyond a minimum security perimeter, such as a thief towing or rolling the vehicle, will produce an immediate alert from The Witness to your phone or email address.

Alarm Notifications

When connected to a compatible alarm system*, The Witness will provide immediate notifications to your phone or email if the alarm is triggered for more than 15 seconds. Everyone else might ignore your alarm, but you’ll know instantly.

Designed for Security

Unlike other tracking products on the market, The Witness was designed specifically with security in mind. Stealth Installation means that all components of The Witness are installed in a completely invisible manner. There is no indication the vehicle contains a tracking device. This keeps the core security function safely stowed inside the vehicle, protected from tampering or disabling. In addition, The Witness’s integrated back-up battery preserves full functionality in the event that vehicle power is lost. This provides a security buffer so that the vehicle can still be tracked if a would-be thief cuts the vehicle battery.
